The organization was founded in 1824 in London as the SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
Our mission is to ensure that all animals have a good life, achieved by rescuing and caring for those in need, advocating on their behalf, and inspiring everyone to treat them with compassion and respect.
